Ambre Gris EdP, Perris Monte Carlo

Unromantic, but true! Ambergris is a waxy material that is formed in the digestive tract of sperm whales and then reaches the surface of the sea. Sun and wind eventually wash it onto a beach and collect it there. Can you imagine anything rarer? This material has an extremely long-lasting, intense and sensual smell and was therefore inevitably used in areas associated with eroticism.

In many oriental countries it was used as an aphrodisiac. Perfumers in Venice in the 18th century used it generously and of course Giacomo Casanova could not do without it. The most precious amber is the "Flottée" amber. The long natural drying process and the long drifting at sea allow the amber to mature and develop a scent that is too complex even for the comprehensive world of fragrances.

In this creation , Perris Monte Carlo has enriched the aphrodisiac character of natural amber with rose absolute, vanilla absolute and musk. The result is a long-lasting and seductive fragrance experience.
