Renowned perfumer Domitille Michalon-Bertier was inspired by travel and the joy of it. Discovery and the sensual luxury of nature inspired her to create this fragrance, which is embedded in the soft glow of amber and elegant deep green tones. The seductive cinnamon bark in the top note comes from Sri Lanka, carefully harvested from old trees during the rainy season. The robust heart consists of sustainably grown Indonesian patchouli and a pinch of spicy-sweet vanilla. The base of the oriental gourmet includes honeyed amber, musk, labdanum and earthy moss. These exotic notes subtly refer to the originally Dutch settlers of New Amsterdam, known for their love of travel and the spice trade.
