The perfumer's own fragrance, Haute Luxe brings together all the rare and precious materials that Roger Dove most values. A fragrance that nothing compares to. Roger Dove describes it as "a chypre fragrance wrapped in cashmere" for the gentle way it settles on the wrist, as smoothly as the material glides over the skin. The world's finest rose and jasmine are accompanied by a light powdery note of iris and rest on a natural chypre base bed that revolves around the dry warmth of oak moss. An opulent base combines the sensuality of leather and amber with the balsamic sweetness of benzoin and vanilla to create a chypre fragrance that is as indulgent as perfumery itself.

"Many years ago I wore the same perfume until one day a fresh bottle arrived and I found that the formula had changed - it just wasn't the same anymore. After searching for a new signature fragrance for a long time, I decided to just create it myself. This fragrance embodies me completely; it is my way of being and my style in olfactory form. I chose the materials I love most - the most exquisite the perfume world has to offer. The gold flakes floating in the formula are actually the least precious of all the materials used in this creation - they are just meant to represent a bit of fun and to indicate my sense of humor, how I don't take everything too seriously. Wherever I went, people would ask me: 'What are you wearing?' and most often the question followed: 'Where can I buy it?'. After keeping the formula to myself for many years, I decided to share my fragrance with a few people around the world. On my birthday, September 25th, I released 25 bottles for customers in the UK and 25 for the rest of the world. Every year we sold out and had to apologise to customers who missed out.
