This fragrance opens with a fresh note of bergamot, leading into a heart of Rose de Mai, Jasmin de Grasse, and ylang-ylang. The base consists of an opulent blend of oakmoss, patchouli, cedarwood, amyris, styrax, labdanum, ambergris, benzoin, vanilla, iris, cinnamon, clove, and ginger. "Many years ago, I always wore the same perfume until one day a fresh bottle arrived and I discovered the formula had changed—it just wasn't the same anymore. After searching for a new signature scent for a long time, I decided to create it myself. This fragrance embodies me completely; it's my way of being and my style in olfactory form. I chose the materials I love most—the most exquisite the perfume world has to offer. The gold flakes floating in the formula are actually the least precious of all the materials used in this creation—they're simply meant to represent a bit of fun and hint at my sense of humor, how I don't take everything too seriously. Wherever I went, people would ask me, 'What are you wearing?' and usually the question followed: 'Where can I buy it?' After keeping the formula to myself for many years, I decided to share my fragrance with some people around the world. On my birthday, September 25, I released 25 bottles for customers in the UK and 25 for the rest of the world. Every year, we sold out and had to apologize to customers who missed out.
