In 2009, Marianne van Sasse and Rene van Geer founded their own company SECRID. Their first product, the Cardprotector, was awarded the Red Dot Design Award that same year. The first leather wallets followed in 2010 and in 2012 they were finally awarded the Aluminium Award. Only European cowhide from Holland or Italy is used to make the leather cases. SECRID also produces its entire wallet collection in Holland - we like it!
